Rikki Ella Brown

I am a PhD Candidate in Cultural Anthropology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. My work examines the intersections of technology, sociality, and politics in the Georgian wine industry.

Currently, I am a 2026-2027 Fellow at the Yerevan Center for International Education. In the spring of 2027, I will be at UC Davis as an awardee of the Spurrier-Winiarski Wine Writer-in-Residence Award. You can read more about my plans at UC Davis here.
