Graduate Association for Food Studies
Since June 2024, I have served as President of GAFS. Prior to moving into the presidency role I served as
a general board member, Treasurer, and Vice President.
GAFS hosts various on-line events, facilitates a graduate student-professor mentorship program, confers Graduate Student writing awards, and collaborates with the Association for the Study of Food and Society (ASFS)
to promote Food Studies programs and support graduate students in the discipline.
